4th Edition Warlord and Paragon Paths

Mirror Image Wizard Utility 10
Three duplicate images of you appear, imitating your actions perfectly and confusing your enemies.
Daily * Arcane, Illusion
Minor Action Personal
Effect: Three duplicate images of yourself appear in your space, and you gain a +6 power bonus to AC. Each time an attack misses you, one of your duplicate images disappears and the bonus granted by this power decreases by 2. When the bonus reaches 0, all your images are gone and the power ends. Otherwise, the effect lasts for 1 hour. (more…)

Wizards has released a bunch of new information regarding rogues in 4e. The information has been added to our Facts/Rumors page under classes here.

Rogue (Striker, Martial)
• “You look surprised to see me. If you’d been paying attention, you might still be alive.”
• Characteristics: Combat advantage provides the full benefit of your powers, and a combination of skills and powers helps you gain and keep that advantage over your foes. You are a master of skills, from Stealth and Thievery to Bluff and Acrobatics.
• Religion: Rogues prefer deities of the night, luck, freedom, and adventure, such as Sehanine and Avandra. Evil and chaotic evil rogues often favor Lolth or Zehir.
• Races: Those with a love for secrets exchanged in shadows and change for its own sake make ideal rogues, including elves, tieflings, and halflings.

Wizards has recently released the information on pit fiend from the upcoming monster manual. Read it’s stats and tactics here:

Description
This hulking devil stands 12 feet tall and has red scales, leathery wings, and a long whiplike tail. It carries a massive mace and wears an ornate breastplate decorated with evil runes and symbols.

Will You Convert to the new rules?

There is much debate on whether players are willing to shell out $20-$45 per book, for a completely different system. If the new rules are better then 3.5 and the price is competitive the conversion rate will probably be pretty good. However, if Wizards wants players to pay $35 for 3 different core books (similar to DMG/PHB) to even begin playing, those who purchase the new material will generally be kids who live in their mothers basement and die hard fans.

Do you have the time sir?

One of the biggest problems in DnD is the inconsistency of spell durations. If I cast a spell that lasts 100 minutes, most of the time I just have to guess when it ends. Does walking to the end of town take 15 minutes or 20? Tracking the round of multiple effects gets even more tedious. I have 5 rounds on our bard’s song, 2 rounds on the 3 summoned badgers, 4 rounds on glitter dust, and 1 round on grease. I hope I’m not forgetting anything.
