Amazon sold out of the 4th ed gift set and won't be getting any more in until July 27th.

well.. erm.. the 27th is less than 24 hours away.. I'm pretty sure you could find some entertainment until then - or at least won't get into too much trouble to miss the new stock.

Oh, yar. And leave the scalping on ebay alone. If you want to pay a premium, just go get the books at Boarders or B&N. Heck, order it in store. Don't encourage bad behavior.

I pre-ordered the books back in April... I was pushed back into early July for a new shipment. I said screw it and ordered the books individually. Sadly, the cost was ~$10 more than the gift box (pre-order was $57) but I could get them right away.
There are a lot of individual books floating out there, just not the gift set, which includes a "nice little box" they all fit into. *eh* Not worth the wait.

I guess I got lucky...I pre-ordered a few days before release and got the gift set 4 days after...
