Perhaps the conversation could be most appropriate if it highlights the differences between 5E and 4E?

Theoretical speculation is always a very fun part of talking about future systems, though.

I think, for comparitive purposes, its easier to compare 5e to 2e, because they are so very similar, before 5e gets any of the modularity. But things are going to change a lot over the next 12-15 months.

Yup, from what I can tell based on my playtest at the DnDXP and reading through the playtest rules (and following the articles on their website).

The game flow is very similar to a 2e game.
