 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
snaig wrote: Hi,
It is amazing how you can keep up with everything on this spreadsheet, which I use for all of my characters.
I found a minor glitch. I am designing a 1st level Minotaur Warden. Race Feature 5 is "Abil: Choice of Str, Con, Dex. However, the selection box that comes up immediately to the right of that is for RaceSkill.
Thanks for all of the hard work!
snaig Actually, that's referring to the line above it (Goring Charge). The fact that RaceSkill is next to it is merely a coincidence. What I'll do is rework it so that it calculates using the maximum of the three stats, and not actually mention the calculation on the sheet. -WF

What race/class are you using? Do you have any feats that allow proficiency? Greatbow is a Superior weapon, and I think by default no race or class starts with any proficiency in Superior weapons. It's most certainly there, you're probably just not seeing it because by default you don't see weapons you're not proficient in. -WF

 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
Trying to create a magical superior implement. For example how do I create a +2 Accurate Aversion Staff? Tried a search and did not get any matches.
Thanks!

Thanks! Right now you can't, really. Best you can do is select Accurate Staff with the bonus. Superior Implements are on the to-do list, but I've got to figure out how to get them to work properly. -WF

I dont remember the specifics on each ability I am not that great with Excel its probably something real simple. That would be great. Keep up the great work on the sheet.. You saved me from needing windows anymore on my Mac The abilities are designed with only at-will powers, and it does that to avoid C&D wrath from WotC. I'd highly recommend making power cards. I'd highly recommend making power cards in any case. -WF This is partly what I wanted too. A space in any tab where the functionality of the "Standard Attacks" area appear with more rows, so as to have the attack and damage values for more weapons. There is no need to automatically calculate the values for the non-at-will powers, as the user could manually edit each row and to make a short note of the numbers for each power.

 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
Hey many, many thanks for all your never-ending hard work. I have CB and I still prefer your sheet to that gawd-awful monstrousity of a .netframework aberration. Even if it has shiny pictures. Anyway I just downloaded 31.4.1 which I believe is the latest and tried making a rogue with sharpshooter talent. It appears that the sharpshooter talent of +1 is still not being factored into a rogue's attacks (unless my math is wrong or I'm using the sheet wrong.) I know this was reported before...I noticed it was before this update though. No hurry it's not like I cannot override the value for now. The rest of this sheet positively shines! Ooooooo! Shinies....

 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
It's Coming...The Newest addition to Character Sheets....
You'll all find out what it is soon, but be excited. Wildfire is aware of it, and I may need a few people to beta test around and maybe give suggestions. If people are interested, PM me and I'll make sure to discuss what it is.

 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
RegenCoE: Thanks for the printing tip! Once I transfer my character to the newest copy of the sheet, I'll give it a try!
Wildfire: I am proficient in with the Greatbow, I've taken the feat; I don't know why it isn't showing up. Is there some special way you need to type it?
Edit: I tried setting it to 112% to print, and it didn't work properly - it was too wide for the paper.

 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
You might have to fiddle around with scaling a bit - the border is different for each printer - thus the settings a bit differnet for each printer. When I print them at work on a Xerox Colour Press 1000 112 is the right amount for me

 Re: Excel Spreadsheet
Background 10th level Goliath Warden Earthstrength Earthhide +3 light armor
Question/Problem Calculating AC base = 10 1/2 level = 5 armor = 3 ability (Dex 12) = +1 class (guardian might earthstrength: use Con 20 instead of Dex) = -1, +5 ench = 3 TOTAL = 26
Sheet Calculates base = 10 1/2 level = 5 (15) armor/ability= 5 (?) class = 0 ench = 3 TOTAL = 23
So, I think armor/ability should be 8 not 5, which is what it was in version 30.0.1 of the sheet(last time I updated him). Or the armor/ability should be 3 and the class should be 5. thanks!
