playing a psion class is fun but on creation focus, suggested was bulwork construction but I can't find it what does it do please.

It doesn't ring a bell, but let's see what we can find out. Do you know if this is a Feat or a Power and what it is supposed to do? Who suggested it? Could it possibly be the Epic Feat Telepathic Bulwark (Dragon 387)?

Psions are indeed great fun, and if you are playing one that works well enough I wouldn't worry too much about finding some lost piece. Having said that, my curiousity has now been piqued, and I intend to discover what this is...

From what I can see, the answer is ignore it and pick something that actually exists.

The feat in question is "Bulwarked Construction", and so far as I can tell currently only exists in the Suggestion Options list for Shaper Psions. Shapers came in with Psionic Power, and the suggestion list in PP even marks it as a feat that is new with that book. But looking at the feats in PP, there is no such feat there (much less anywhere else).

I'm thinking that this is a case of a feat having been nerfed after the suggestion list was written, and whoever was in charge of that list failed to update it or wasn't told the feat was nerfed.

As for what to actually pick as your first feat, it really depends on several other factors, including your race, what implement you're going to be working with, and what general tone you're going for with the character.

Personally, I almost never touch class or race specific feats before 4th level. But, I'm also typically a defender or striker and have other feats that are higher priorities.
